Dressed in identical black trench coats, five expressionless actors dart randomly across the stage. As they gather in a line down stage, the five characters slowly begin to unbutton their coats, but gripped with fear, they quickly re-button the coats and sigh with relief in the security of their sameness. So goes the opening of Quest’s powerful and visually rich visual theatre piece, Mosaic. Mosaic has moved audiences in Austria.
